RAÚL FOMBONA

Born on December 6, 1977 in the town of Real de Guadalupe in the municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta is Mexican painter and sculptor. He is the oldest of three brothers of a family of humble origins. 

He studied Social Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero.

Fombona considers himself a restless person who greatly enjoys challenges. He identifies as a lifelong student who is happy to be doing what he is doing. His inspiration comes from life itself, the people around him and everything he observes and makes his heart beat.

His work has been exhibited all over Mexico, including Museo Regional de Tamaulipas and La Casa de los Perros in Guadalajara as well as internationally in the United States and Argentina. He attributes his success to his dedication and focus in dealing with obstacles that come his way.
