ALFREDO COTA

Plastic artist based in Mexico City, he has dedicated himself mainly to sculpture. Through figurative representation, Alfredo Cota creates images of different animal species in which, through an expressionist technical treatment, he imposes the rough gesture of an animal that has not been domesticated and lives in freedom, transformed into a symbol of its own artistic expression.

He has exhibited his work individually and in group shows in Australia, Indonesia, the United States, and Mexico. Some of them are the Embassy of Mexico in Indonesia, the Consulate of the United States, the School of Free Law, the Peter Gray Museum in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.
