MARCO VARGAS

Marco Vargas (Born 1961) is a sculptor from Mexico City. Using several materials from clay to acrylic – sculptor Marco Vargas has for many years made interesting works with the clay technique that he has now recognized internationally for.

Within his career as a sculptor Vargas has managed to consolidate his own language that he has shaped in different ways, such as the reliefs, sculptures in third dimension, and his constant inclusion of the sgraffito as part of his sculptural proposals and everyday elements – cooked in the interior of the artist, they have achieved a solid work that is now undoubtedly enriched by the proposal of acrylic sculptures.
