MARENAL

The plastic artist Marenal was born in 1959 in Mexico City into a family involved in art. Her grandmother was the founder of the Taller de Gráfica Popular and her uncles Luis Arenal, painter, engraver and sculptor, and David Alfaro Siqueiros, one of the great exponents of Mexican muralism, represented a great influence on his work.

She has exhibited her paintings and graphic works in different cities in México, as well as France, the United States of America, Costa Rica, Cuba and Spain, among others. Likewise, it has been awarded in multiple exhibitions both in México and abroad.
