RODRIGO DE LA SIERRA
Rodrigo De la Sierra lives and works in Mexico City, where he was born in 1971. After completing his degree in Architecture, a Diploma in Creativity at the Universidad del Valle de México, and developing himself for 12 years as an architect, De la Sierra studied plastic arts for 4 years in workshops of Technique of materials and patinas and Sculpture Workshop in Círculo de Arte y Escultura Pippal.
He took courses in modeling, wood carving, molds and casting. And figurative sculpture at the Universidad Iberoamericana,
continuing his training in a self-taught way.
In 2021 he was positioned by Forbes magazine within the Top 10 of the 100 Most Creative Mexicans in the World.
With more than 13 years of experience as a sculptor, De la Sierra has managed to exhibit his work in the most important cities of countries such as Italy, China, South Korea, the United States and Mexico. He has been selected to participate in different prestigious biennials and has participated in national and international fairs.
