RODRIGO VARGAS

Rodrigo Vargas is an emerging artist, he sculpts works that blatantly dance between the abstract and the figurative, which seem to transform from one to the other before our eyes. It delights us with its very vivid and exciting bronzes and resins, with its sophistication and its fluid and sensual form. His use of color is very bold but never kitsch, a truly difficult
achievement and, in his case, very well executed.

He lives and works in Mexico City where he was born in 1984. He studied at the CEDART (Art Education Center) “Luis Spota Saavedra” (INBA),
winning several awards in youth contests of drawing and painting at the state and national level . He studied at the Royal Academy of San Carlos where
he learned more about sculpture and decided to dedicate himself to it 100%.
