VLADIMIR CORA
He is a Mexican painter and sculptor, born in Acaponeta, Nayarit, in 1951.
He studied Plastic Arts in the School of Painting and Sculpture in Tijuana and in the National School of Painting and Sculpture “La Esmeralda” of the INBA.
Among his works are portraits, sculptures, paintings and drawings. He received honorable mention, First Rufino Tamayo Biennial of Painting in Oaxaca, the Four Cultures Confraternity Grand Prize at the First Biennial of Ibero-American Painting of the Andean Institute of Popular Arts in Miami, Florida, United States; and in 1989 the Prize of
Plastic Arts of the Government of the State of Nayarit.
Cora has 150 solo and collective exhibitions and is internationally recognized.
