Jean Pierre Renucci, originally from the island of Corsica, settled in Mexico 25 years ago; after a successful career creating the most exclusive art collections for banks in the world, Renucci found in Mexico a vibrant artistic movement full of contrasts and unique talents.

The founder and curator of Galería Corsica has revolutionized the art scene in the country, his curatorship has positioned artists in different artistic disciplines. The
acceptance that it had from the beginning in Mexico has allowed him to expand the spaces it has to present works by devoted great masters as well as to create meeting points for the young Mexican promises of Contemporary art.

 

Counting on the representation of more than 60 Mexican artists in 4 galleries in the national territory Galería Corsica, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, Emotions by Corsica, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, covering an area of more than 900 square meters, where visitors can appreciate in an optimal way the different movements and techniques that our country offers.

Galería Corsica has consolidated it’s influence not only in the Mexican art but also in the Mexican society, granting donations in public spaces in Puerto Vallarta, as well as consolidating the ArtDistric and ArtWalk projects in both Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.

 

Within its ranks we can find masters like José Luis Cuevas, Leonora Carrington, Vladimir Cora, Ricardo Fernández, Agustín Castro, Antonio Castro, Conchita Rivera, José Antonio Gurtubay, among others.
