Felipe Cifuentes (1987) is a Colombian figurative painter who has been based in Mexico for the past decade. His work explores contemporary figurative language through poetic and symbolic imagery that reflects personal and collective narratives.
Cifuentes has presented twelve solo exhibitions in cultural institutions across Mexico, Colombia, and Europe. His work has also been shown in museums and international exhibitions, including the Museo Nacional de Arte de China during the Beijing Biennale, the Florence Biennale, and the Museo Bolivariano de Arte Contemporáneo, where he received first prize at the VIII Watercolor Triennial in 2024.
Alongside his solo projects, he has participated in more than fifty group exhibitions internationally, consolidating his presence within the contemporary Latin American figurative painting scene.
